Getting Started
The purpose of this website is for you to explore different websites in each of these areas and make a plan for how you will use them with your class. When you send your students to the lab, there are three main applications that you can utilize when using the internet.

There are many sites with activities, especially math. However, making students accountable for the activity may not be possible. Ask yourself the following question as you complete the activities on each site:
Research
It is not enough to just look at a site but to decide how you can use it for research purposes with your class. When you are looking through these websites, ask yourself these questions to help you decide whether it is appropriate for your grade level.
I rarely give students a blank sheet of paper and ask them to find information. They need direction to be most productive in the short amount of time that they are in the computer lab. Usually, I will give them a paper to complete. It might be a form or a Q & A worksheet. Have fun!
